Pharmacology is a multidisciplinary branch of medicine that studies drugs and their effect on biological systems in living organisms.At the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the Department of Pharmacology is comprised of nationally and internationally renowned leaders in the fields of neuropharmacology and oncopharmacology making great strides in discovering and implementing novel therapies and therapeutics.
